What a wonderful Thanksgiving, so much to be thankful for this year! The only thing better than being back at home after traveling is having the entire weekend ahead of us. I think a couple things on my list are to take a nice long walk maybe a run somewhere in there and I plan to eat a salad for a meal or 2...the stretchy pants are out in full force!

Ideas for your Holiday

This time of year is the best, there is nothing like snuggling up by a cozy fire after you have stuffed your belly so full from a yummy turkey with stuffing and a side of gravy. Yes, I said it and am very much looking forward to Thanksgiving and traveling to spend time with family!

Although there is nothing more I like than all the above than decorating for the holiday. My family travels for Thanksgiving so I decorate my home for the entire holiday season tweaking little things here and there in preparation for hosting Christmas.

The lovely Staci Edwards started us out this week with some of her favorite recipes and entertaining ideas so I thought I would show you a few of my favorite table settings with special details to follow. Hope you enjoy!

Another Monday, a weekend passed, and the middle of the month in a few short days, where oh where do the days go? Not sure but I do know there are certainly not enough hours in a day and with it getting dark earlier I am feeling hibernation mode coming on... hmm maybe a new fur vest for that is in order!

I can hardly believe it has been a year since the first issue of Lonny Magazine launched and after flipping through their anniversary issue, released yesterday, it is true most things just get better with time. This issue is packed with gift ideas for the holidays features designers Celerie Kemble, John Robshaw and Mary McDonald and has wonderful entertaining ideas from design guru Eddie Ross. Happy Birthday Lonny what a treat!

Summer entertaining and decorating can be easy and chic with old glass bottles, plates and serving pieces produced in the late 1800's through the mid 1900's. These treasures can be found at flea markets, yard sales, second hand shops or in my case my great grandmother's garage.

Design extraordinaire Eddie Ross is the master of the flea market and dressing the table for events. Everything he touches seems to turn to gold... if you are entertaining and looking for a little inspiration check out his blog for ideas!
