Old Photos

I thought I would share some of my most treasured family photos with you today (after I mastered the scanner).  I have these up in my home and they never fail to make me smile.

My parents, so young and so happy.

I miss the old photo booths, and yes that is me.  Circa 1972/73, what a stylish bunch.

I took this one of my brother when he was staying with me for the weekend and it is my most favourite shot of him ever.

Are you fans of old photos?  I do love this new digital age, no more waiting for photos from the Chemists and only two good shots when you get them back, but I still love the hard copies.

Summer Fun...

It has been so hot of late the my brain is as completely frizzed as my hair, so I am sorry for the lack of posts but I had nothing people, nothing.  It has dropped a couple of degrees (yeah!) and my sister is arriving tomorrow, I am so very happy.

There will be a lot of this going on...

And some long, lazy lunches....

With some dressing up (photos I promise)...

And lots of laughter...

Sisters are great, and I am so looking forward to my holiday at home.  Now I must finish cleaning the house in between the cool showers and many ice pops that get me through the day.
