An Afternoon with Charlotte Kemp Muhl (Elite, NY) for Refinery29
Refinery29 recently asked me to follow Charlotte Kemp Muhl for an afternoon of shopping, fun, and photography. You can see the collection of photos at Refinery29 by clicking HERE.
Bambi Northwood-Blyth (Elite, NY): new face to watch
Maddie Kulicka (Elite, NY): new face to watch
Polish newcomer Maddie caught a wide variety of Casting Director's eyes this SS11 season. From London's Russell Marsh (opened Dries van Noten at Paris and walked Miu Miu), to New York's Jennifer Starr (she walked Ralph Lauren), to New York's Michelle Lee for KCD (she walked Marc Jacobs).
The icing on the cake was wrapping up the Paris shows with Lanvin, YSL, and Dior.
Massive Call Sheet potential for the coming editorial and campaign season.
Amanda Norgaard (Supreme NY) and Hannah Holman (Elite NY): Best Friends
Ming Xi (Elite Paris): new face extraordinaire

2009 Elite Model Look Finalist--same contest that helped launch the career of Rianne Ten Haken, Isabeli Fontana, and a personal favorite of mine, Charlotte Di Calypso.
Runway debut: walked exclusively at the Spring 2010 Paris Haute Couture for Givenchy
Closed 2 shows at the Fall/Winter 2010 London Fashion Week
walked Jil Sander, Emilio Pucci, and closed Les Copains at Milan.
walked Christian Dior and Vivienne Westwood in Paris so far.
Hopefully she gets the pages, pages, and more pages of high end editorials and campaigns to really solidify a foundation for long term career success. I know my eyes will be watching her progress carefully.
Roza Gough (Elite NY) and Joan Smalls (IMG NY)
Egle Tvirbutaite (Elite NY)
Talking to my friend Egle reminded me of how non-glamorous the travel schedule of a model can sometimes be. After this photo was shot, she was flying that day to Milan, then booked 2 days later to fly to Tokyo. It's almost like you never really know where in the world you will find yourself until the very last minute in time. As a lifestyle, I can see how this could be challenging.

Yeah Hannah did a Miu Miu campaign, yeah she had a great runway season, yeah it's official news that she's doing a Burberry campaign and 10 magazine editorial, but what about Hannah as a person?
What about all those "strangers" who friend request her on facebook?
"...they always want to talk about modeling and I have a life besides modeling"
For the best interview that I could find that gets inside Hannah as a person, as a baker, and as an avid reader, click over to Modelinia's interview.
