Extraordinary Weave

Mexican Otomi

I have always loved seeing the use of Mexican Otomi fabric in design. It is 100% cotton canvas and handwoven by the Mexican Otomi Indians. It can be used as coverlets, tablecloths and shown below in Cookie magazine an upholstered headboard. Jacaranda Home offers Mexican Otomi fabrics in an array of sure to make your heart go pitter patter...
Kelly Green, Golden Yellow, Red, Multi-Color, Bright Aqua and Rosa Mexicana are just a few to name!

Design Sponge

Blog Design Sponge took inspiration from the Cookie Magazine headboard and did a do it yourself headboard with the fabric and voila design perfection. Check out the link below and see how Grace from Design Sponge created her own upholstered headboard...you can too!

Mexican Otomi as shown in House Beautiful.

This adorable California beach cottage located on Balboa Island in this month's House Beautiful sparked my whole rejuvenated love for the OtomiThe owners used a beautiful Mexican Otomi in Rosa Mexicana from Jacaranda as a tablecloth. The cottage is full of color with wallpaper from Albert Hadley in a powder room, a lime green zebra Jonathan Adler rug and a Liberty of London print cruiser parked out front.
